mBlox makes ShortTV’s unique video greetings available on U.S. cell phones

(New York City, November 16, 2005) ShortTV, Inc. announced today that it has launched the first publicly available video greetings to U. S. subscribers of ATT/Cingular, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, and T-Mobile who own video capable cell phones. Visitors can now order greeting videos and send cool 3D video messaging to each other via cell phone. This new service is being launched under ShortTV’s latest website called WizWak.com.

Leveraging mBlox’s global mobile transaction network, ShortTV developed a cross network platform that enables it to video stream content via all networks that have 3G services.

Based on avatars, or virtual representations of people, animals and characters, users can enter any text message which automatically becomes spoken by the avatar when the message is played. In addition to its 3D video messaging system and current library of videos, WizWak.com is in the process of producing 300 greeting videos.

“These short greeting videos are specially written and produced for cell phone users. We expect them to generate considerable interest. They bring an entirely new experience and capability to U.S cell phone owners,” said Roland Dib, CEO of ShortTV.

"The video content that ShortTV has created reflects the high level of maturity both on the part of the carriers to support 3G media and the US market to receive it. 3G media is very appealing to younger, tech savvy cell phone users and ShortTV is definitely a leader in this trend toward greater implementation of this rich message form," said Jay Emmet, mBlox President of Americas.
